Polish universities recommended by and in collaboration with the Medical Poland Admission Office agreed to wait for Irish students' Leaving Certificate results to be released on 7th September.
Following a statement from the Irish Department of Education and Sills (available here), Medical Poland Admission Office worked with a number of Polish medical and veterinary schools to accommodate the postponed release of the results to allow Irish students still apply and start medical, dental and veterinary programmes in English in Poland in 2020.
Some universities will wait for the results, but still require applicants to complete the application processes before each institution 's individual deadline.
Some of the universities that accommodated the change of dates are:
- medicine: Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz
- medical programmes: Poznan University of Medical Sciences
- medicine: Medical University of Bialystok
- medicine and dentistry: Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin
- medicine and dentistry: Wroclaw Medical University
- veterinary: Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences
